From Lake Langano, head north on the main road (A1) towards Addis Ababa for approximately 35 kilometers. Look for signs leading to Ziway. As you approach the town of Ziway, take the exit that leads directly into the town. Continue straight until you reach the lake's shore, which is well-marked. Parking is available near the lake.

To reach Ziway Lake from Lake Langano by public transportation, first, find a minibus or bus heading towards Addis Ababa. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to get off at Ziway. The fare is usually around 50 ETB (Ethiopian Birr). The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Ziway, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the lakeshore, which is a short distance away.
