Start from the center of Mekele, specifically at the bustling Meskel Square. From Meskel Square, head southeast towards Aksum Street (known as 'Aksum Bole'). Continue along Aksum Street until you reach the intersection with Gondar Street. Turn left onto Gondar Street and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and eateries on your way. Once you reach the end of Gondar Street, take a right turn onto the road leading to Gondoroch Mariyam. Follow this road for about 500 meters, and you will see the Gondoroch St. Maryam Church on your left. The church is a notable landmark and is easily recognizable with its beautiful architecture.
