From the center of Mekele, head south towards the main road (Abraham Deboch St). Walk along this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Wukro Road. Once you get close to Wukro, look for signs directing you to Gud Bahri, as it is a popular tourist attraction.

From Mekele, locate the bus terminal where you can catch a minibus to Wukro. These minibuses frequently depart and the fare is quite affordable. The ride to Wukro will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Wukro, disembark at the main bus station. From there, you can ask locals for directions to Gud Bahri, which is approximately a 3-kilometer walk. You can also hire a local guide or take a 'bajaj' (three-wheeled taxi) for a nominal fee to reach the site.
