Start from the center of Mekele at the main square (Mekele's Meskel Square). From the square, head northeast on the main road (Afar Road) for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by several local shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Unnamed Road. Follow this road for about 500 meters, and you will see a small sign indicating the Italian soldier grave on your left. The grave site is located slightly off the main road, so you may need to walk a short distance into the area.
