Begin your journey at the center of Mekele, particularly in the area around the Mekele Market (also known as 'Kirkos'). From the market, head south towards the main road, known as 'Abiy Addi Road'. Once you reach Abiy Addi Road, turn left and continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto 'Gedu Road'. Continue walking along Gedu Road for about 2 kilometers. As you walk, you will notice various local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for any signs indicating directions to Adi Fengats'. After 2 kilometers, you will come to a junction; take a right turn onto 'Adi Fengats' road. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer, and you will arrive at the area marked 'G8FC+J88', which is the location of Kolal Awli'e. The preserve is known for its beautiful natural scenery, so be sure to take some time to enjoy the surroundings once you arrive.
