  To use public transportation, find the nearest bus station in Shewa that services routes to Addis Ababa. Board a bus heading to Addis Ababa; the fare is typically around 30-50 Ethiopian Birr. The journey will take approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at a major terminal in Addis Ababa, look for local buses or taxis that go to Arada. Ask for Unity Park or use a GPS-enabled app to guide you. The fare for local transportation ranges from 10-30 Ethiopian Birr.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Shewa to Unity Park in Addis Ababa. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should be around 200-300 Ethiopian Birr.
