If you are driving to Simien Lodge from the main entrance of Simien Mountains National Park, head southeast on the main road towards the park's visitor center. After passing the visitor center, continue on the same road for about 15 kilometers (9 miles) until you reach the junction near the village of Ughif. Take the left turn at the junction and follow the paved road for another 5 kilometers (3 miles). You will see signs directing you to Simien Lodge. The lodge is located at the coordinates 13.211763, 37.977825.

To reach Simien Lodge via public transportation, first, take a bus or minibus from Gondar to Debark, the nearest town to Simien Mountains National Park. It is advisable to arrange this in advance, as not all taxis may be available.
