Amazing Solo Trip with Liyu Ethiopia Tours

In November 2025 I went on a 10 day solo adventure tour in Ethiopia. Within the tour I visited the Tigray region for a three day trekking in the Gheralta mountains, discovered the ancient rock churches of Lalibela and went to the Bale mountain NP to encounter wildlife as the rare Ethiopian wolf. I can really recommend the tour especially with Liyu Ethiopia Tours as I was really satisfied with my experience. Also I have to say that Yhun (the head of the agency) is the best. Starting from his excellent planning of my itinerary where he fully integrated my wishes into the program as during the trip which he perfectly accompanied all the time. I felt very welcome and in very good hands and I am more than grateful that especially Yhun as well as all of his very friendly local guides (like Rovel in Tigray region, Menber in Lalibela and Ayuba in Bale mountains) made this trip so special and an unforgettable experience for me!
