    From the Lalibela town center, walk southeast on the main road. You'll pass the Lalibela market on your left. Continue for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the churches. Turn left and follow the path uphill. After around 10 minutes, you'll see the entrance to Bete Maryam on your right. Walking is free.
