Some items date back to the early Aksumite period. Displays reflect Ethiopia's ethnic diversity, spiritual traditions, and artistic expressions. Visitors can explore traditional clothing, jewelry, musical instruments, and household items. One of the museum's highlights is the collection of Emperor Haile Selassie I's personal belongings, offering insights into his life. Rooms preserved from his time in residence, including his bedroom and study, provide a tangible connection to this pivotal figure in Ethiopian history. The second floor houses exhibits of religious art and traditional musical instruments.
