From the center of Wollo, head southwest on the main road towards Debre Birhan. After approximately 25 kilometers, you will reach the turnoff for Wurgesa. Follow the signs towards Wurgesa for about 10 kilometers. Once you reach Wurgesa, continue towards the coordinates GHQW+QFV. The Gemshat Mountain Forest is located in this area, approximately 5 kilometers from the center of Wurgesa. Parking may be available at the entrance.

Start at the main bus station in Wollo and take a bus heading towards Debre Birhan. After about 25 kilometers, request the driver to drop you off at the turnoff for Wurgesa. From there, you can either take a local taxi or walk the remaining 10 kilometers to Wurgesa. Upon arrival in Wurgesa, ask locals for directions to the Gemshat Mountain Forest, which is about 5 kilometers away. Be prepared for a short walk or a local taxi ride to reach the forest.
