Getting There

Walking

From the center of Abaro, the viewpoint is accessible by foot. Head towards the higher ground on the outskirts of town. The walk is approximately 1-1.5 hours, offering scenic views along the way. Follow the main road leading out of Abaro, and then take the ascending path towards the viewpoint. There are no specific costs associated with walking.
Car

From Debre Libanos Monastery, head southwest on the main road towards Abaro. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection. Turn right onto the road leading towards Abaro. Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers. As you approach the area marked as 'PRFM+77, Abaro', keep an eye out for a small parking area on your left. Park your car there. The Viewpoint is a short walk from the parking area, just a few minutes on foot. Parking is free. A taxi from Debre Libanos to the viewpoint would cost approximately 150-250 ETB.
