Car
If you are driving, start from the main town of Eysturoy, which is either from the village of Eiði or from the capital Tórshavn. Follow Route 10 towards Funningur. From Eiði, it takes approximately 20 minutes to reach Funnings Kirkja. Look for the road signs indicating Funningur and follow them. The church is located at the address 72PM+P9M, Funningur, Faroe Islands. You will see the church on your left as you enter the village.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedules as they vary. You can take Bus 300 from Tórshavn towards Eiði. Once you reach Eiði, transfer to Bus 400, which will take you to Funningur. The total journey might take around 1.5 to 2 hours, including waiting times. Make sure to get off at the stop closest to Funnings Kirkja. From there, it's a short walk to the church.
Walking
If you are already in the village of Funningur, reach Funnings Kirkja by following the main road. The church is located at 72PM+P9M, and you should be able to see it from a distance. It's a pleasant walk, taking about 10-15 minutes from any point in the village.
