If you are traveling by car, start from the main town of Runavík on Eysturoy. Take Route 10 south towards Gøtugjógv. After approximately 15 kilometers, turn right onto Route 58. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach Gøtugjógv. Look for the signs directing you to Gøtu kirkja, located at 57V3+9F5, Gøtugjógv, Faroe Islands. Parking is available near the church.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a bus from Runavík to Gøtugjógv. Check the local bus schedule for the most current times, as services may vary. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Gøtugjógv, it is a short walk to Gøtu kirkja, which is located at 57V3+9F5. Be sure to check the return bus times to ensure you have a ride back.

If you are staying nearby in Gøtugjógv, you can simply walk to Gøtu kirkja. From the center of Gøtugjógv, head southeast on the main road for about 1 kilometer. The church is situated on your left. This walk provides a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.
