Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Runavík, which is one of the larger towns on Eysturoy. Take Route 10 towards the village of Oyndarfjørður. Continue on Route 10 for approximately 15 km. As you approach Oyndarfjørður, look for the sign indicating Ovari Vegur. Turn onto Ovari Vegur, and follow the road until you reach the destination at 1 Ovari Vegur, Oyndarfjørður. Parking is available near the site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the bus number 300 from Tórshavn or Runavík towards Oyndarfjørður. The bus operates several times a day. Get off at the Oyndarfjørður stop. From there, it is a short walk towards Ovari Vegur. Follow the road signs directing you to Rinkusteinar. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.
Walking
Once you arrive in Oyndarfjørður, if you prefer to walk, head to Ovari Vegur. The walk from the bus stop to Rinkusteinar is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 20-25 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way as you approach the site, which is located at 1 Ovari Vegur.
