From Gjógv, head southwest on the main road (Road 10) towards Haldarsvík. Continue driving for approximately 15 km, passing through Funningur. You will see signs for Haldarsvík. Once you reach Haldarsvík, follow the signs indicating Fossá. The waterfall is located at the coordinates 62.2511° N, 7.0777° W, so you can use a GPS for precise navigation.
Public Transportation
To reach Fossá via public transportation, take a bus from Gjógv to Tórshavn. From Tórshavn, transfer to a bus heading towards Haldarsvík. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary. Once in Haldarsvík, you can either walk to Fossá, which is about a 2 km hike, or arrange for a local taxi to take you there.
