The tour, which in my case, was solo, was most rewarding.
The individual guide, who was very pleasant, engaging and knowledgeable, made the day to be very pleasant.
The weather, as it is in this part of the world, was variable, but the photographic opportunity and exploration of the various locations were presented in terms of appropriateness, and with respect.
I would strongly recommend the tour.

Outstanding 7 hour highlights tour . So lucky to choose this tour and guide Elsa Maria. The tour shows you all the main highlights of this beautiful and scenic group of islands in a comfortable , intimate group. We had only 7. The weather was magnificent and Elsa Maria was passionate , knowledgeable and knew all the best places for a shot or a beautiful fish restaurant for lunch. I highly recommend doing this if you are short on time and or as an introduction to the island if you are driving around . Elsa Maria gave some of our group excellent tips for their driving tour and she is a fantastic photographer capturing everyone’s shots of the day ! Thank you for a great day and explaining the culture history and true facts behind the Faroese way of life.

Guide to Faroe Islands coordinates with the various tour operators so you can find all of the options in one place and have a central place to book. I reached out twice ahead of our trip with questions and got very helpful responses right away! Unfortunately our Mykines trip was cancelled due to weather, so the tour operator suggested other tour options for that day instead which ended up being a great tour of the northern island (but still disappointed not to get to see puffins on Mykines). The next day we had the 7 Hour See It All Tour, which was great.

My friend and I had the pleasure of being on the 7 hour 'See it All' tour of the Faroe Islands with Elsa Maria from “Guide to Faroe Islands.” She picked us up promptly at our airbnb in Torshavn and we then went to pick up the others in our party (a family from the States and a man from Brazil). Her first question to us was, do you need to be back by a certain time? I knew then that it was going to be a thorough tour.
To say that Elsa Maria is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide of the Faroe Islands is the supreme understatement. She guided us on a tour of her homeland with zeal and by the end of our nearly 9 hours with her (far more than the 7 advertised) we had seen and done absolutely everything that one could possibly see and do in a single day. We made frequent stops for pictures, bathroom breaks or coffee, and by the end of the day I'd taken literally hundreds of pictures of the most incredible variety of landscapes I'd ever encountered in a single day. If you have just a couple days in the Faroes, do yourself a favor and book this tour! But if you have more time than that, also do yourself a favor and book this tour! You can't possibly get a better overview of the islands and you'll know where you want to go back and spend more time. We loved the personal insights and stories that Elsa Maria interspersed in with standard tourguide narrative. This was like going to visit your favorite aunt--who happens to be a tour guide. There's a reason she has so many positive online reviews.

Once in a lifetime experience touring the iconic scenery within the Faroe Islands whilst also being educated on its history. My tour guide, Claus, was exceptional in his multilayered understanding of the roots and pre-historic development of the Faroe Islands as we know it! This tour was accommodating, invigorating and will surely have you walking away with not only a deeper appreciation for the country, but also an awareness to the meaning that the country has to its local residents. 10/10 would recommend this tour to any new comer to the country.
