If you are starting from the center of Gøta, head east on the main road, which is called Tróndargøta. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach a small intersection. Keep an eye out for local signs indicating the direction to the museum. At the intersection, turn left onto Tróndargøta. The Gøta Museum will be located on your right at number 10. The walk should take around 10 minutes.
Walking from Norðragøta
If you're coming from Norðragøta, start by walking north on the main road, Tróndargøta. You will pass several local shops and houses. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see the Gøta Museum on your left at 10 Tróndargøta. The walk will take roughly 15-20 minutes.
Public Transport
While Gøta is a small area, if you are at a nearby location and want to use public transport, check for local bus services that run through Gøta. The closest bus stop to the museum is 'Gøta'. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk south on Tróndargøta to reach the museum at number 10.
