    From the center of Gøta, head south towards the main road, which is Route 10. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and some local houses. After approximately 15 minutes, you will arrive at the town of Tórshavn. Once in Tórshavn, follow the signs towards Yviri við Strond, which is along the waterfront. Skansin is located on the hill overlooking the harbor, and you will see it in the distance. Ascend the path leading up to Skansin, which is a historical fortress with stunning views of the surrounding area.
