From the center of Gøta, head southeast on the main road towards the ferry terminal. Walk along the water's edge, enjoying the views of the fjord. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign pointing towards Hvithamar. Continue straight on this road, which will lead you up into the hills.
