    To reach The Nordic House from any location in Hestur Island, drive to the Hestur ferry terminal located on the east side of the island. Take the ferry to Tórshavn, which runs frequently, and the cost is approximately 70 DKK for adults (children may have reduced fares). Once you arrive in Tórshavn, exit the ferry and head east on Norðari Ringvegur. The Nordic House is located at 14 Norðari Ringvegur, just a short drive from the ferry terminal, approximately 5 minutes away.

  • Public Transportation

    If you prefer public transportation, take the ferry from Hestur Island to Tórshavn. After disembarking, you can catch a local bus (Bus 1) that stops near The Nordic House. The bus fare is about 25 DKK. Inform the driver you are heading to Norðari Ringvegur; the stop is close to the cultural center. Walk the remaining distance to The Nordic House, which is just a couple of minutes away on foot.
