Walking
From Tórshavn city center, the National Gallery is approximately a 10-minute walk. Head north along the main road, cross the bridge over the Sandá River, and continue into Viðalundin Park. The gallery will be on your right. There are no costs associated with walking.

Public Transport
Take the free red city bus number 2. Get off at the Gundadalur bus stop, which is right by the gallery. Alternatively, most buses stop at R. C. Effersøes gøta (Læknamiðstøðin), only 300m from the museum. The bus is free.

Taxis are available throughout Tórshavn. A short taxi ride from the city center to the National Gallery will cost approximately 75 DKK, which is the base fare. Taxi services can be booked online or via phone.
