If you are traveling by car from any location in Hestur, first make your way to the ferry terminal at Hestur, located at the northern end of the island. Take the ferry to Tórshavn, which will take approximately 30 minutes. The ferry operates regularly, but it's wise to check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Tórshavn, follow the signs to Route 10 towards Kirkjubøur. Continue on Route 10 for about 20 minutes until you reach Kirkjubøur. Upon entering Kirkjubøur, look for signs to Kirkjubømúrurin, which is located at X625+Q44.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking the ferry from Hestur to Tórshavn. Once you arrive in Tórshavn, you can catch a bus heading towards Kirkjubøur. Buses operate frequently, and the ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to get off at the Kirkjubøur stop. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to Kirkjubømúrurin, located at X625+Q44. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.
