Car
From Hestur, head south to the ferry terminal at Gásadalur. Take the ferry from Hestur to Tórshavn, which operates regularly. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tórshavn, drive to 9 Gongin, the address for Visit Faroe Islands. The drive is approximately 10 minutes. Follow the signs to the city center, and then look for Gongin Street. You will find Visit Faroe Islands on your left.
Public Transportation
From Hestur, take a local bus or arrange for a taxi to take you to the ferry terminal at Gásadalur. Once at the terminal, board the ferry to Tórshavn. After disembarking, you can either walk or take a local bus to Visit Faroe Islands at 9 Gongin. The walk from the ferry terminal to the location is about 15 minutes. If you prefer to take a bus, check the local bus schedule for routes heading toward Gongin Street.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, consider taking a taxi from Hestur directly to Tórshavn. This will save you time, especially if you are not familiar with public transportation schedules. Taxis can be arranged locally, and the drive will take approximately 20 minutes. Once in Tórshavn, you can ask the taxi driver to drop you off at 9 Gongin, the location of Visit Faroe Islands.
