From the center of Hvalvík, head towards the main road (Route 10) that leads out of the village. Walk along the road in the direction of Vestmanna, which is approximately 12 kilometers away. Follow the signs that indicate Vestmanna. The walk will take you through beautiful landscapes, but be sure to stay on the pavement where available, as the road can be narrow in some places.
