Walking
From the center of Hvalvík, head southwest towards the main road (Route 10). Follow the road as it curves to the right. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. At the fork, take the left path that leads towards Tjørnuvík. You will pass through scenic landscapes with views of the ocean and mountains. After approximately 1 kilometer, you'll enter the village of Tjørnuvík. The Tjørnuvík Kirkja will be on your right, located at 7VQ2+PQQ, Tjørnuvík 445.

If you're up for an adventure, you can hike from Hvalvík to Tjørnuvík. Start your hike by heading towards the hills behind Hvalvík. Follow the marked hiking trails, which will lead you through beautiful mountainous terrain. The hike is about 3 kilometers and may take around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace. Upon reaching Tjørnuvík, the church (Tjørnuvík Kirkja) will be easily visible. Make sure you have proper hiking gear and check the weather before you start.
