Walking
From the center of Hvalvík, head northwest on the main road, Route 60, towards the village of Sandavágur. Continue walking for about 5 kilometers. You will pass through lush green landscapes and may enjoy views of the surrounding hills and the ocean. Keep an eye out for the signposts that indicate the direction towards Sandavágur. Once you reach Sandavágur, follow the signs for Trælanípa, which is located about 2 kilometers further west from the village center. The trail begins at the edge of the village, where you will find a sign that reads 'Trælanípa.' The hike will take approximately 1 hour with moderate difficulty, leading you along a well-marked path with stunning views of the cliffs and ocean.
