The hike to Kallur Lighthouse starts from the village, so ensure your car is parked safely without blocking any access.

From Trøllanes, follow the marked hiking path that leads to Kallur Lighthouse. The trail begins at the edge of the village and provides picturesque views of the surrounding landscape. The hike is approximately 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) one way, with a moderate incline. Be prepared for a hike that may take about 1 to 1.5 hours to reach the lighthouse, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear good hiking shoes and carry enough water.

If you are using public transport, you can take a bus from Tórshavn to Klaksvik, and then transfer to a bus heading to Kalsoy. The bus will drop you off at the ferry terminal in Klaksvik. Once you arrive at Kalsoy, you will need to either walk or arrange for a ride to Trøllanes, as public transport options on the island may be limited.
