    From the center of Klaksvik, head north on the main street, Gøtugøta. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Norðari Ringvegur (Route 68). Turn left onto Norðari Ringvegur and follow it for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Klakkur trailhead pointing to a small road on your right. Take this road, which will lead you towards the trailhead. Follow the road until it becomes a gravel path that takes you uphill. After about 500 meters, you will arrive at the Klakkur trailhead.

    From Klaksvik, take the local bus service that operates towards the village of Bøur. Check the schedule for the latest times, as they can vary. Once you reach Bøur, you will need to walk back towards Klaksvik on the main road. After about 1 kilometer, look for the sign indicating the Klakkur trailhead on your left. Follow the gravel path uphill from there, and you will arrive at the trailhead.
