    From the center of Oyndarfjørður, head north on Ovari Vegur. Continue along this road towards the coast. Rinkusteinar will be located on your left side near the coast, identifiable by its unique rock formations.

  • Public Transport

    Take bus route 481 from Skálafjørður to Oyndarfjørður. From the bus stop in Oyndarfjørður, walk north on Ovari Vegur towards the coast. The Rinkusteinar will be on your left. A single bus fare within the Skálafjørður region typically costs around 20 DKK.

  • Car

    From Tórshavn, take Route 10 to Eysturoy, then continue towards Oyndarfjørður. Once in Oyndarfjørður, follow Ovari Vegur road towards Rinkusteinar. Limited parking is available near the site. Parking is free. Route 10 includes driving through a subsea tunnel. The toll is 130 DKK for a normal car each way.
