From Klaksvík, start by heading south on the main road (Road 1) towards Norðdepli. Continue on this road for approximately 17 km. You will pass through several tunnels, including the Norðoyatunnilin. After exiting the tunnel, follow the signs towards Hvannhagi, which is located near the village of Viðareiði. Turn left onto the road leading to the hiking area. There is a parking area nearby where you can leave your vehicle.

Once you arrive in Viðareiði, follow the signs towards Hvannhagi, which is about a 30-minute walk from the bus stop. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven.
