    From Klaksvík, head southwest on Route 1. Continue for approximately 20 km. As you approach Tórshavn, look for signs directing you to Kirkjubøur. Take the exit towards Kirkjubøur. Follow the road until you reach the village of Kirkjubøur. The ruins are located near the center of the village. Parking is available along the road.

    Start at the Klaksvík bus station. Take Bus 300 towards Tórshavn. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Disembark at the Tórshavn bus terminal. From there, transfer to Bus 100, which goes to Kirkjubøur. The bus ride from Tórshavn to Kirkjubøur takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Kirkjubøur, the ruins are a short walk from the bus stop.
