Starting from the center of Klaksvik, head southeast on the main street (Áarvegur) towards the water. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Norðari Ringvegur. Turn left onto Norðari Ringvegur and walk along the waterfront. Keep walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the Skansin area. Look for the prominent fortifications and the beautiful views of the harbor. Follow the signs indicating the direction to Skansin.

From Klaksvik, locate the nearest bus stop on Áarvegur. Check the local bus schedule for routes heading towards Tórshavn. Board the bus that heads south towards Tórshavn. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the stop nearest to the Skansin area. From there, follow the walking directions to Skansin as described above.
