Car
From Koltur, head southeast towards the ferry terminal at Gamlarætt. The drive takes approximately 15 minutes. Follow the signs for the ferry to the island of Vágar. Note that the ferry schedule may vary, so check ahead for the latest departures. The ferry ride will take about 30 minutes to reach Vágar. Once you arrive at Vágar, you can drive or take a bus to the nearest town, Sørvágur.
