    To reach Føroya Sjósavn from Koltur by car, first head southwest on the main road towards the ferry terminal at Gamlarætt. After about 10 minutes, you will arrive at the ferry terminal. Board the ferry to Tórshavn, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Once in Tórshavn, follow signs towards Argir. Drive along the coast on Road 10 for about 10 minutes until you reach 8 Rættargøta in Argir, where Føroya Sjósavn is located. Parking is available nearby.

    Public Transportation

    From Koltur, start by taking the local bus to the ferry terminal at Gamlarætt. The bus schedule may vary, so check local timings. Once you arrive at Gamlarætt, take the ferry to Tórshavn. After disembarking, catch a local bus towards Argir. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to 8 Rættargøta. From there, it’s a short walk to Føroya Sjósavn. Note that ferry and bus fares may apply, so please have local currency ready.
