If you are driving from anywhere in Koltur, start by heading towards the main road leading out of Koltur. Follow the signs towards Tórshavn. The drive will take about 15-20 minutes depending on your starting point in Koltur. Continue on the main road until you reach Tórshavn. Once in Tórshavn, follow the signs for 'Landavegur.' Vesturkirkjan will be located at 2648+X8M, Landavegur, Tórshavn 100. Parking is available near the church.

To reach Vesturkirkjan via public transport, you will first need to take a ferry from Koltur to Tórshavn. Ferries run regularly, but be sure to check the schedule in advance. Upon arriving in Tórshavn, you can either walk or take a local bus that heads towards Landavegur.
