From Koltur, head towards the ferry terminal in Gamlarætt. You can take your car on the ferry to Tórshavn. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tórshavn, follow the signs to the city center. Drive to Tróndargøta, where Víngarðurin is located. The exact address is 31 100 Tróndargøta, Tórshavn. Please note that ferry tickets cost approximately 75 DKK for a car and 40 DKK per passenger.
Public Transportation
From Koltur, you will need to first take a taxi to the ferry terminal in Gamlarætt, as public transport is limited. Once at Gamlarætt, take the ferry to Tórshavn (30 minutes). After disembarking, you can either walk or take a local bus to the city center. To reach Víngarðurin at 31 100 Tróndargøta, it is about a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal or you can take a bus that goes towards the city center. Bus tickets cost around 30 DKK.
