From Kvívík, head west towards the main road (Road 10). Follow the sidewalk along the road towards the village of Bøur. The walk is approximately 4 km and should take about 1 hour. Along the way, enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding hills and the ocean to your left. Once you reach Bøur, continue to follow the signs towards the hiking trail to Skarðsáfossur.

Upon reaching Bøur, look for the trailhead which is well marked. The trail leading to Skarðsáfossur starts at the northern end of the village. Follow the trail, which is approximately 2 km long and should take around 30-40 minutes to hike. The path may be rocky and uneven, so wear sturdy shoes. As you hike, enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes and the waterfall in the distance.
