If you're traveling by car on Streymoy Island, start from Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. Head north on Route 10. Continue on Route 10 until you reach the town of Vestmanna. From Vestmanna, take Route 57 towards the village of Sumba. Once you reach Sumba, park your car at the designated parking area. The hike to Drangarnir starts from here and takes approximately 1.5 hours. The trail is well-marked and offers stunning views along the way.

To reach Drangarnir via public transport, start from Tórshavn and take a bus towards Vestmanna. Buses run regularly, but check the local timetable for exact schedules. Once you arrive in Vestmanna, you will need to take a taxi to Sumba, as public transport does not go directly to the village. The taxi ride from Vestmanna to Sumba should take about 15-20 minutes. After arriving in Sumba, follow the marked hiking trail to Drangarnir, which will take approximately 1.5 hours. Be sure to check the taxi fare beforehand.
