Walking
From the center of Kvívík, start at the Kvívík Church. Head southwest on the main road (Road 10) towards the village of Sandavágur. The distance is approximately 5 km, so prepare for a scenic walk along the coastline. Enjoy the views of the surrounding hills and the ocean. Once you reach Sandavágur, continue on Road 10 until you see a sign for Trælanípa. Follow the signs leading you up towards the hills until you reach the viewpoint. The trail is well-marked and should take about 1.5 to 2 hours from Kvívík.
Biking
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Kvívík and start at Kvívík Church. Cycle southwest along Road 10 towards Sandavágur. The ride is about 5 km and should take roughly 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace. Once you arrive in Sandavágur, look for the signs directing you to Trælanípa. Follow the road and then take the trail leading up to Trælanípa. Be cautious of the terrain as it can be steep in some areas.
