From the Tvøroyri ferry terminal, take a bus towards Sandvík. Upon arrival in Sandvík, follow Heiðavegur road, where you'll find signs to Ásmundarstakkur. The walk from Sandvík to the Ásmundarstakkur viewpoint is roughly 1.5 km along a coastal path. Ferry tickets cost approximately 90 DKK for a roundtrip. Bus fares vary depending on the distance, but a multi-day travel card for 500 DKK offers four days of unlimited bus and ferry travel (excluding Mykines).

    To reach Ásmundarstakkur by car, take the ferry from Tórshavn to Tvøroyri. From Tvøroyri, drive north towards Sandvík. In Sandvík, turn onto Heiðavegur road, following the signs to Ásmundarstakkur. Continue along this road for about 1.5 km to a small parking area. From the parking area, it's a 20-minute walk to the Ásmundarstakkur viewpoint. The ferry costs 225 DKK for a car and driver. Note that there may be tolls for undersea tunnels on the way to Tórshavn, costing 100 DKK per tunnel. Petrol costs around 12.85 DKK per liter.
