Walking
Once you are in Mykines, head towards the marked path towards Múlafossur Waterfall. The path starts near the village center, where you will see signs indicating the direction. Follow the path that leads you through the beautiful landscape for about 1.5 kilometers (approximately 30 minutes). You will pass by scenic views of the coastline and the surrounding hills. The waterfall is located in Gasadalur, so keep heading in that direction.
Public Transportation
If you prefer not to walk, check if there are any local buses operating from Mykines to Gasadalur. Be aware that bus schedules may vary, and it's advisable to confirm the timings in advance. Once you arrive in Gasadalur, follow the signs leading to Múlafossur Waterfall, which is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop.
Car
If you have access to a car, you can drive from Mykines to Gasadalur. The drive takes approximately 20 minutes. You will need to take Route 60 from Mykines and follow signs for Gasadalur. Once in Gasadalur, park your car in the designated area. From there, it’s a short walk (about 15 minutes) to reach Múlafossur Waterfall. Be sure to follow the marked trails.
