Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving in Norðoyar, head towards the town of Nólsoy. From the center of Norðoyar, take Route 10 towards Tórshavn. After about 24 km, follow the signs to the ferry terminal at Gamlarætt. Park your car in the designated parking area, as vehicles are not allowed on the ferry. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Nólsoy, which costs approximately DKK 50 for a round trip. The ferry ride takes about 20 minutes.

    Once you arrive at Nólsoy, you can walk to Nólsoy Lighthouse (Nólsoyar viti). From the ferry terminal, follow the main road through the village.
