From Runavík, locate the bus stop near the town square. Take the bus towards Viðareiði. The bus ride should take about 15 to 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Viðareiði, exit the bus and follow the signs towards Malinsfjall. The trailhead is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you have access to a bike, you can ride from Runavík towards Viðareiði via Route 10 (Ásvegur). The distance is about 5 kilometers, and the road is bike-friendly. Upon reaching Viðareiði, follow the signs to the Malinsfjall trailhead which is easily accessible from the village.
