    From the center of Runavík, head southwest on the main road, Ytsti. Continue walking along this road until you reach the intersection with Yviri við Strond. Turn left onto Yviri við Strond and continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Skansin will be on your left, just before you reach Tórshavn.

    Take the bus from Runavík to Tórshavn. Check the local bus schedule for the most up-to-date times. The bus will take you directly to Tórshavn. Once you arrive, disembark at the main bus terminal. From the terminal, walk southwest towards Yviri við Strond, which is a short 10-minute walk. Skansin will be located on your left along this road.
