Walking
Start your journey at the center of Runavík, near the town's harbor. Head west along the main road (Route 10) towards the village of Sandavágur. The distance is approximately 4.5 km, which should take around 1 hour to walk. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding mountains and the ocean. Once you reach Sandavágur, continue on the same road until you see signs for Trælanípa. The trailhead is located just off the main road, and you can follow the marked path leading up to the viewpoint.
Bus
From Runavík, take the bus route towards Sandavágur. You can catch the bus at the main bus stop in Runavík, which is located near the harbor. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Sandavágur, disembark at the nearest stop and follow the signs towards Trælanípa. The walk to the viewpoint from the bus stop is about 1 km uphill, following the marked trail that leads directly to Trælanípa.
