    If you are already in Skopun, Betania is easily accessible by foot. Head towards Bøherðan street, where the church is located at number 30. The walk is a pleasant way to enjoy the local scenery.

  • Public Transport

    From Tórshavn, take bus number 101 to Gamlarætt. Then take the ferry to Skopun. From the Skopun ferry terminal, you can take bus 600 into the village. Get off near the center of the village and walk to Bøherðan street. Bus fare from Tórshavn to Gamlarætt: Approximately 30 DKK. Ferry from Gamlarætt to Skopun: 40 DKK for foot passengers. Bus fare within Skopun: Included in the overall bus ticket, confirm with the driver.

  • Driving

    If driving from elsewhere on Sandoy or from Tórshavn (via the ferry from Gamlarætt), follow the main road to Skopun. Once in Skopun, navigate to Bøherðan street. Betania is located at number 30 and parking is available nearby. Ferry for a car and driver: 160 DKK, plus 40 DKK per additional passenger. This is only paid one way.
