From Tórshavn, take Bus 650 directly to Sandur. The bus stops in the center of Sandur, near the Tourist Information Center. Single fare is approximately 30 DKK.

From Tórshavn, drive through the Sandoyartunnilin. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes. Be aware of the toll for using the subsea tunnel; payment can be made online within three days.
