Public Transport
From Tórshavn, take Bus 650 directly to Sandur. The bus stops in the center of Sandur, near the Tourist Information Center. Check the schedule beforehand as departures may be limited and require advance notice. A multi-day travel card can be used for affordable travel on buses in the Faroe Islands. Single fare is approximately 30 DKK.
Car
From Tórshavn, drive through the Sandoyartunnilin. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes. Be aware of the toll for using the subsea tunnel; payment can be made online within three days.
