Car
From Tórshavn, drive north on Route 10. After approximately 45 minutes, take Route 59 towards Vestmanna. Continue on Route 59 for about 12 km, then follow signs to Route 60 towards Tjørnuvík. After about 20 km on Route 60, you will arrive in Tjørnuvík. Follow signs towards the beach, where parking is available near the beach area. Parking may incur a small fee.
Public Transport
From Tórshavn, take Bus 400 to Oyrarbakki. Transfer to Bus 201, which goes directly to Tjørnuvík. The bus journey from Tórshavn to Tjørnuvík takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. From the Tjørnuvík bus stop, it is a short walk to the beach. A single bus fare will cost approximately 30-50 DKK. Check the bus schedule in advance as services are limited.
Walking
If you are already in Tjørnuvík village, the beach is easily reachable on foot. From the village center, head towards the coast following the signs to the beach. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes, providing scenic views along the way.
