Private and Guided Walking Tórshavn City Tour
Fabulous Faroe Islands!
Torshavn is an absolute gem worth exploring! We didn't know much about the Faroe Islands but our private tour guide Birgit quickly changed that! She had an amazing knowledge of the town and of the islands themselves and set us up for the rest of the exploring we did on our trip. Birgit walked us through this very historic town and you could feel her love of the place. Her recommendations of cafes, restaurants, the symphony orchestra which happened to be playing that night as well as other towns to visit and tours to do such as Vestmanna made our trip simply amazing! Private Kallur Lighthouse Hike
Three wonderful days
We spent five wonderful days in the Faroe Islands in September 2026, and during three of those days we had the pleasure of going on private guided tours. The tours were truly one of the highlights of our trip. We got to experience some absolutely breathtaking scenery across several islands, while also learning so much about the history, culture, nature, and everyday life of the Faroe Islands. Our guide, Helle, was exceptional. She was professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English. She was also warm, attentive, flexible, and genuinely lovely to spend time with. She adapted the tours to our interests and made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. We honestly could not have wished for a better guide. Helle made an already beautiful destination even more memorable. We would highly recommend both the Faroe Islands and these tours to anyone considering a visit. You pick up the code for...
You pick up the code for the audio recording at the cafe. Wait staff there were unsure of what to do but manager knew so be persistent. Cafe is next to the information centre. The audio was interesting. A bit hard to follow walking route but improved once more familiar with map.
